In reasonable shape for it's age, this double wide
mobile home has 3 bedrooms, 1 bath and includes
a stove, oven, refrigerator and a central forced air
furnace. Both sections have attached hitches but
will need to be unmarried before moving.

Here's a picture and more info:

Just a thought, since you are obviously not concerned in making a
buck off of it. How about inviting the fire dept to come and burn it
down in a "Training Practice"?

Just like a gift, you can deduct market value (Get it appraised) and
you'll be $$$ ahead!

Hmm. Great idea (we'll bring the soda pop and the
neighbors can bring the marshmallows). I just wonder
if it'd make a worthwhile training exercise. With the
exterior and roof being sheet metal, it'd probably just
sit there and smoke for a while before collapsing.

Believe it or not, the fire dept fights many fires where they don't
know "What's inside" and so, this is the "Perfect" chance to train
rookies or refresh the hardened vets as to what a fire *May* do.

Can't hurt to give them a call...

Believe it or not.... old mobile homes can go from incipient fire to nearly
gutted in about 7 minutes. Your local FD will likely smoke the place with
dampened hay bales or a smoke machine for several evolutions before the
"grand finale".

Opportunities like this can be scarce for many departments desparately in
need of training excersizes but short on training dollars....
